If I book a call or consultation, what will I need to provide you with?

We will need the measurements of your room as well as some photos of the space. If you have some inspirational images that you have collected you can also send them so we know exactly what style you are looking for.


What happens when you come to my home for a consultation?

If you book a private consultation for your home, we will start by sitting together for 15-20 minutes to get to know each other. Before I look around at any of your space, I want to know what your requirements, expectations and issues are, to be able to approach the space through your eyes and not apply my own projections onto it. We will also determine what your budget is to build a clear picture of the possibilities. Then we will take a tour of whatever area you need help with and get working! This is where I will provide you with actionable tips and advice for organising and/or decorating, depending on your needs.


Do I need a big budget to decorate my home?

Good news, you absolutely don’t. We firmly believe that you can create a beautiful and well thought-out home on any sort of budget. Sometimes, re-organising the layout of a room is all it takes to change the energy of the space and make it more comfortable or more welcoming. We work hard to make sure we adapt our advice to your particular budget, to provide solutions that align with your possibilities.


Do you enlist the help of other professionals?

Depending on the scale and budget of the project, we involve any skilled experts we deem necessary for the good of the final result, from architects and carpenters to electricians. The hiring of professionals is part of our early discussion with the client and something we address when putting the proposal together, before you agree with the terms of the contract and work even begins. Once the project is in progress, if adjustments need to be made and specific artisans hired, we will discuss the possibilities together. We are always very mindful of a project’s budget and will never make decisions on additional costs without your prior consent.


How involved do I need to be if I choose Quietly for an interior design project?

If you commission us for an interior design project, small or large, you are free to be as involved as you want. We believe that positive vibes in the process are as important as the end result, and that the energy of the journey is going to go right into the final space. For us, creating the perfect interior is an ongoing dialogue between the designer and the client, and we will always be glad for your participation. However, if you would prefer to oversee it from afar and delegate decisions, we can supervise all aspects of the project. Depending on the size of the job, we offer several options. You can hire us to focus solely on the design, or we can take responsibility for the design and the management of contractors. These prestations are invoiced at different costs, agreed upon during the proposal stage.
